Our annual Golf Tournament held every June is our largest fundraising event. We had over 30 teams in 2018 and it was our most successful event to date.
Everyone does a March Madness Pool for college basketball so why not do one that benefits cancer research? This is our first fundraising event each year and makes the games that much more worthwhile and exciting.
Special mentions to our donors and participants
“The UMass Medicine Cancer Walk is grateful beyond words for the generosity and commitment shown by TEAM M.A.P. Over the course of the past 8 years, TEAM M.A.P. has raised significant funds to help support cancer research, clinical trials and patient care at the UMass Medicine Cancer Center of Excellence. We are humbled by their dedication to our cause and are proud to call them a partner in this fight.”Beth WhitneyUMASS Cancer Walk
“You guys helped my family so much financially. Once I was sick I had to undergo one of the strongest chemo regimens out there and have surgery to remove the tumor from my leg. I was unable to walk for 2-4 weeks after surgery. I endured over 9 months of chemo and suffered in many ways. Emotionally and spiritually it made me feel great to have your support knowing what you had been through with your Dad. I was so happy to go to the tournament and get to see so many old/familiar faces. Your generosity has also helped give me a better attitude on life in general and made me feel a need to help others as much as possible.”Colin DaleyCancer Fighter
“I want to thank you for your support of Cindy and our family. This fight has been very difficult and your donation will help us out in many ways. I wish she could have been at the tournament to see all the support. We had so much fun at the golf tournament and were amazed at how much support you get at this awesome event.”James McWalterHusband of Cindy McWalter
“I am overwhelmed with this incredibly generous gift! I am honored that you chose me to be a recipient. You have a beautiful family and was so glad to meet them. Keep up the fight to help find a cure for cancer and I cannot thank you enough again for this gift.”Kristin Larkin
